Information Technology continues to expand globally. Many employers are looking to hire extra IT staff during the next year in this very important field. Careers in technology are potentially very lucrative. This course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent for a variety of Information Technology positions including: Helpdesk & Support/Technician, User support specialist, ICT Operations support.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however it is recommended that participants have ACSF Level 3 in learning, numeracy, reading and writing and oral. An initial assessment will be conducted to identify the ACSF level of participants in this course.

Duration

12 months
Face to Face classes (10 hours per week).
Students are also required to do 20 hours of self study per week.
