Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology

Overview

Information Technology continues to expand globally. Many employers are looking to hire IT trained employees in the next few years as this is a very important skill area. Careers in technology are potentially very lucrative and this is where they begin. This course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent for a variety of information technology positions including: Helpdesk & Support, Clerical and Administration.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however it is recommended that participants have ACSF Level 2 in learning, numeracy, reading and writing and oral. An initial assessment will be conducted to identify the ACSF level of participants in this course.

Duration

8 months
Face to Face classes (10 hours per week).
Students are also required to do 10 hours of self study per week.
